Welcome to our extreme makeover!
The Herald News is in the process of a from-the-ground-up, months-long redesign. From larger, easier-to-read type to updated, airier design, to improved organization and presentation of our award-winning local news, to a big surprise – on Page A2 – for our longtime readers, you’ll notice an abundance of new and improved features throughout The Herald News.|
We’re inviting readers to follow our progress on this Web site. We’ll be posting new prototypes as we finalize them and looking for feedback through a designated E-mail (see Extras on the right) that will arrive directly in the Inboxes of Publisher Sean Burke and Editor in Chief Lisa Strattan.
Readers will also get a peek inside The Herald News, with meet-the-staff video spots and introductions to members of The Herald News family, such as our “Community Voices” writers. And, readers will learn how to get involved with the newspaper, both with the process of our redesign and on and ongoing basis.
Longtime readers may recognize some of the details in the history of The Herald News, and enjoy comparing the past with the present. But whatever your interest, we hope readers will take a special interest in the future glimpsed here.
